Kumo Reviews
10/10 would recommend Sandos were exactly what we wanted sauce hits!! Will definitely come back!!! Kumo should open in phx or mesa,Arizona !
We tried the Fruit Sando! It was very good- and very generous on the cream. Fruit tasted fresh and bread was okay. Display was nice as well. Next time I’ll have to try some of their savory options but all and all a very easy and pleasing experience. $11 was a little steep and maybe around $8 i’d come more often and they could consider catering at that price. But still good stuff! Thank you
Overall they got really solid food. Their Takoyaki is a good pick me up for extra food if I bring lunch and am still hungry 🙌🙌 just wished they still kept their curry sauce on the menu cause that was a huge motivator for me to buy their sandwiches. Would totally appreciate the return of the sauce or at least sharing the recipe for it if they’re going to opt to have it permanently removed.
Kumo is a small, charming restaurant known for its soft milk bread and delicious sandwiches. The menu includes a variety of options such as the beef, pork, and fruit sandwich, along with pork cutlet and egg salad sandwiches. The shrimp sandwich and 1/2 egg and fresh fruit with green tea are also popular choices. Customers have enjoyed the savory and crispy chicken katsu sandwich, the flavorful pork katsu, and the sweet strawberry cream sandwich, which features light whipped cream and fresh strawberries that complement the bread perfectly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, offering good suggestions and excellent service. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a quick, tasty meal, with some outside seating available. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the option to choose two side salads with their meal, although the sauce can sometimes make the bread soggy. The Fruit Sando has been praised for its generous cream and fresh fruit, offering a pleasing experience, though some feel the price is a bit steep at $11. The takoyaki is a good snack for those still hungry, and many enjoy the egg salad sandwich for its pretty presentation and quick service. Overall, Kumo remains a favorite spot for satisfying sandwiches and sweet dessert options.
