I stopped by Lady Carolyn's Pub in Balboa Park and it’s a nice little place to grab a drink or quick bite before a show at the nearby Old Globe Theatre. The setting is pleasant, with outdoor seating and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for enjoying the park surroundings.

Great pre-theater spot, we enjoy their wines and irish coffees. Last time we went we ordered the chicken melt, over toasted the bread to a pooint it was burnt. We should have returned but we endured. Hopefully a one time thing.
