I called the restaurant to confirm our reservation early afternoon. We get there and are told there is no host and to go upstairs and ask anyone who is up there if we want to sit up there. I can't get anyones attention since it's just the bar. I go downstairs and tell a waiter that we have a rezo and I've just gotten the ring around about going upstairs. She sits us downstairs and mentions we just need to wait 15 mins so they can catch up which I get. 30 mins or so go by no water no menus no drink orders. We have to ask for menus from the bar then practically beg someone take our drink/food orders. Probably got our drinks 20+ minutes later. After that the food started to come out which was very good. They were clearly understaffed and needed more hands this was for a bachelorette party and wish it wasnt so stressful to just have lunch.

The bartender was not very helpful when we got there a little before our reservation and asked if the drink could be added to our table. She rudely said no we can't do that. A simple no unfortunately we have to close out the bar tab and have the meal tab separate would have been fine. The food was underwhelming my carne asabe tacos were bland and the chips didn't have any salt and the salsa was basically canned tomatoes. I was so excited to eat here and it was a let down. The nachos were the saving grace. Very large and lots of toppings more than enough to share.

Our bartender Siyovush was very accommodating, friendly, and gave great customer service. He was so pleasant we had a great time and live downtown, we cannot wait to come back again. We ordered drinks and food and everything was amazing. Thank you for Helping us have such a great experience!

Always a great experience at a Margaritaville. The staff is very friendly and helpful, not pushy trying to get you in and out. Very easy leisurely experience. The food was great, hot and tasty and the was very plentiful. We were there on game day so the menu was limited, but still plenty of great options. And the Perfect Margarita was perfect as advertised. This is a great restaurant which we will visit again on our next visit to San Diego.

I looked at the pictures on Yelp and had high hopes. I have a feeling the kitchen is more like a kitchen nightmare. Everything was very low quality and clearly either pre-frozen or worse. The Nachos were flavorless and greasy. The fish tacos also flavorless. My daughter who eats LOVES a Poke bowl didn't even eat half the Ahi bowl. I had one bite of the tuna and it felt borderline unsafe to eat. We had a lot of great meals on our vacation and unfortunately also ate at Landshark.

Went there for restaurant week for lunch. The food was great! My personal favorites were the elote and the broccolini. The steak with chimichurri was great and they served enough fries for me and someone else. Lisa was an awesome server and made the experience even better. Expect us for dinner soon.

Being a big Buffett guy, I love me a margaritaville experience! This spot is in a great location in gaslamp close to petco park and is easy to find. I’ve had better food in other locations. Not sure what happened with the chips but they were stale. The fish tacos were great though! But the best part of this experience is Corey! Super lively and very much on top of his game. Very courteous, respectful, and takes the role of serving customers seriously! Before I could even ask for refills or anything, he was beating me to it. Would go back just for him!
