The lounge offers an impressive selection of signature cocktails and has also mastered the classics. Guests can enjoy their drinks on the balcony, where servers do a great job of bringing cocktails and wine. While the staff is generally wonderful, the WiFi in the bar is reported to be poor.
The Grand Del Mar as a whole is praised as the best resort in Southern California, with spacious rooms, top-notch service, and impeccable grounds. The staff is particularly noteworthy, going above and beyond to assist guests in ways they wouldn't have anticipated, such as retrieving a lost scorecard. Guests are highly recommended to use the resort's car service, with John being singled out for his excellent service.
