Breakfast burrito with chicken & avocado is a certified banger. I eat this almost every morning & it gets me primed to tackle work & gym after. Dawn is the best at making these but everyone else is really cool too. Love this place a lot. Highly recommend to everyone else to get a bite & also get to know the people here.
Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian but they do have a lot of veggie options. I think they have the green goodness or goddess bowl that I like getting for lunch. Eating as is would be good except I always get it with chicken.

I had a good breakfast sandwich from this kitchen and bakery in Sorrento Valley. The breakfast sammy comes with locally pastured raised scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, aioli, and bacon. You can have on your choice of bread. I went with cracked whole wheat for $13.50.
They put a great toast on the bread. It was crunchy and very tasty. I thought the scrambled eggs were okay. They were not made to order but were of the pre-made variety in trays and cut into rectangular portions. The sandwich would be better served with made to order eggs.
The caramelized onions were delicious, and so was the aioli. It was a good breakfast sandwich. I also had some black iced tea, which was very good.
The young lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. I ate inside the place on the high table along the window. They also have a few tables outside on the sidewalk.

Really delicious and they gave me a very generous, thick slice of sourdough with lots of butter. Amazing and healthy. Clean. And the guy was very patient and helpful with my dumb questions.

Got a breakfast burrito and the croissant. The croissant was decent, a little doughy for my taste. The burrito was extremely over salted that I had to throw it in the trash. The place is definitely too pricy for the small portions that you get.
In the inside dining counter feel sticky and need to be cleaned.

Lucky Bolt offers incredible, delicious, locally sourced meals for pick-up or delivery. A wonderful option for those busy weeks when time to shop, cook and eat healthy is challenging around work and family commitments. Every dish we’ve tried has been 5 star. We especially enjoy the marinated chicken and tofu, the salads and homemade dressings. The gf lasagne is incredible. This is a treat I definitely enjoy giving myself. Heads-up: some of the Mexican dishes and sauces we’ve tried have been pretty spicy, and portions are on the smaller side.

The breakfast burrito was generously sized and homemade salsa was spicy and balanced. We also ended up getting a loaf of sourdough which lasted us for several days! Worth a visit if in the area…
Great place! Local favorite spot!
