Zumbar Coffee & Tea Reviews
Best Coffe shop in San Diego
Is really good quality Coffe and their baristas are very good
My company started getting the 5 pound bags of hummingbird after a return to work directive. I really enjoyed this so we started buying for home. Later, we found the El Mundo blend to our liking. I'm no longer working near Zumbar so we started ordering with free shipping. I order on Sunday or Wednesday for their Monday/Thursday roasting days. We receive the shipment the very next day. Highly recommend Zumbar and kudos to the team getting the work done.
The muffin was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was moist and had just the right amount of sweetness. The crumble topping was absolutely amazing! The coffee was excellent and complemented the muffin perfectly.

Zumbar Coffee & Tea is a must-visit for coffee lovers. The rich and smooth flavor of their coffee rivals top cities across the country. Their hamentaschen pastry is a favorite among customers, and the pastries are described as lovely. Despite the odd location under the freeway, the quality of coffee, pastries, and friendly service make up for it. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a midday break, making it a great spot for a relaxing moment. The small and simple menu offers a unique experience with friendly staff in a low-key setting. Customers have praised the honey cinnamon latte for not being bitter or sweet, while the Peruvian single origin espresso has been noted as tasty. The ice oat milk latte is highly recommended for its creaminess and not being sweet at all. Recently, some have enjoyed their nitro cold brew, describing it as smooth, buttery, and great tasting. However, there is only one usable outlet for laptops, located at a corner seat, so it is recommended to plan ahead if needing power. The place is very small, with limited seating, and it primarily offers takeout service. Overall, Zumbar is an unassuming spot that does coffee the right way, making the trip worthwhile for those traveling from places like Chula Vista.
