Great pizza! We got the 18” pepperoni with jalapeños and the crust was perfect—just he right amount of chewiness. The slices are huge! Good value.

I had never been here before and wanted to give it a shot after hearing about it from some co-workers. The pizza is delicious. What really stood out was the customer service. I was greeted by Matt immediately upon entering, and he made some suggestions on what pizza to get. He was super friendly and went above and beyond. Great first experience, and I’ll definitely be returning.

The Margherita pizza and the Wild Mushroom and Onion pizza are both fantastic. Anything with pepperoni is going to be much too salty. The garden salad is fresh, with a tasty dressing.

The 18” NY-style pizza is more pizza than you think it is. Don’t over-order… learn from our mistake!

All in all, Big Oven Pizza does one thing and does it exceptionally well. Fix the saltiness of the pepperoni pizzas and it is a 5-star place.

I have a love hate relationship with this place. I live right down the street so it’s super convenient.

But I’m at about a 50/50 success rate here.

When it’s good, it’s REALLY good, one of my fav. But about half the time I order, it’s super burnt and all I can taste is the char. Frustrating.

If it was more consistent and wasn’t burnt so often, I’ve be here a lot more

Food was delicious but delivery was horrible. Driver didn’t ring the doorbell and simply dropped the smashed pizzas on the ground. My money was refunded immediately. I will eat in next time because I love how the company treats their customers

Not many places in San Diego you can get Derroit style pizza. This place has it! Very good.

Never had Detroit style ! Really different. Next will order with Tomato sauce just to taste the difference. Do you have medium size round pizzas as I only saw 10” and 18” size pizzas on your website. Ist time I ordered with you after Mom and Dom’s. Should ofter deals with our Kearny Lodge community with more than 300 houses here ! Thanks, Bob Muse

They have table games for you to play as you wait which was pretty cool..

The pizza was ok. The crust on the bottom was good just the top needed a little more time in the oven.
