We pass numerous sandwich stores on our way to this small deli, as none of them can match the enjoyment of eating their food. My favorite is the Jimmy's Special. Highly recommend trying it out.

Sandwich Place is a quaint, mom-and-pop shop with excellent service and welcoming owners. Orders are ready quickly, just like a quick breakfast spot. The daily special board features items like the California wrap, which is good for what it is. Fresh cut fruit and generous portions add to the appeal, making it a worthwhile lunch spot. Located nearby Kaiser Clairemont, they have their own parking lot and are conveniently situated next to many businesses. The sandwiches are consistently delicious, with a huge selection of deli meat combinations, fresh ingredients, and good bread choices. Prices are very affordable, and the service is exceptional. The hero sub is a bit salty, but the portions are generous with a good balance of mayo, mustard, meats, tomatoes, and lettuce.
