Relaxed, accessible, and well priced. I've been going to obi's for a couple years now and while it may not be the most premium experience it's always relaxing. The food is good, the service is swift, and in a city like San Diego having a huge parking lot is a luxury. So if you're looking for a casual experience without hassle this is the spot.

Fresh, Flavorful, and Fantastic!
Obi’s Sushi is a hidden gem in San Diego that delivers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Each roll was crafted with care, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just diving into Japanese cuisine, Obi’s offers something for everyone. This spot is a must-visit for anyone craving top-tier sushi in a relaxed and welcoming setting. I’ll definitely be

A Sushi Lover’s Dream
I’ve been eating sushi for over 35 years, and I have to say—Obi’s serves some of the freshest, most flavorful sushi I’ve had in a long time. The sashimi is absolutely to die for, and the hamachi kama is perfectly prepared and delicious. If you love sushi, do yourself a favor and come to Obi’s. You won’t be disappointed.

A great sushi spot I will definitely be going back to! The rolls are larger than most other places and taste great - I enjoyed the Crouching Tiger Roll, the Clover Roll, and the garlic edamame! Very well prepared, seemed like high quality. Enjoyed the atmosphere, very comfy and cozy and the service was friendly and quick. I went on a Thursday night about 90 minutes before closing and it wasn’t busy.

Great lunchtime Japanese place. Bento, sushi, sashimi, miso, sake, etc sometimes busy at lunch. Reasonable prices. Parking is free, and usually spots nearby.

This place has good comments about the food, that's why I came, but for me the food was terrible, it was not what I expected! I didn't like this place at all, much less the service, I won't ever return. My palate was disgusted.?
I wasn't in the wrong restaurant. I was there and I didn't like their food. I went with my boyfriend and paid with his card. When I love a place, I always leave my comment whether good or bad. Unfortunately I didn't like his place at all.
