“This is not the best Panda Express we have been to. The food is not as crisp, taste, or made exactly like other locations. The orange chicken, I would rate 5 out of 10, no crunch, no orange flavor, or the sweet that makes it tasty. Additionally, the battery over powers, the chicken which seem to be smaller than normal pieces.
Other menu items are not up to the chains standards as we have had at other locations.“
“I really do appreciate good customer service, but the young woman behind the counter went above and beyond. She not only suggested I add their app to my iPhone to get a 20% discount, but patiently helped me do it when I was fumbling with the process. She saw as sweet as can be, and unfortunately I did not catch her name. I return to that’s spot at least once a month for a lunch break while at work in the La Jolla area. With excellent customer service and food, why wouldn’t I?“
“We ordered 2 family meals online and 20 min later get a text for pickup. When I arrived, the young lady greeted me right away and was so nice and friendly. Quickly confirmed my order and handed me everything as it was already ready. When we brought it back to the office, everything was hot and fresh. Highly recommend and good price. Thanks“

“First, Am SO SO glad that this Panda Express location had the plant based Orange Chicken. Didn't have it when i got there about an hour before closing. But they cooked some fresh for me and am SO THANKFUL for that. Also, the young man who took my order was super friendly. I could see that that owner or boss was there and he was an involved owner/boss who made sure things got done ! I was even given a free drink for my patience while waiting !“
“Good price. Impossible orange chicken was a notable highlight, arguably better than the original. Lot of fresh dishes coming into the serving area. I thought the chow mein was tasty, but my girlfriend didn’t think so. Overall, a better than average experience at Panda Express.“
“On a typical Friday afterwork stop to figure out what's for dinner, Panda Express always tops my list! The location right on my way is at Camino Canada St., El Cajon, CA, and right in the heart of a shopping district (next to Walmart, Wells Fargo, etc.). A short line of customers is usually present, however, it doesn't take too long to get your order in, as the staff is very attentive, pleasant, friendly & knowledgeable. Every item is delicious, and I usually opt for a lot more veggies, of which I sub the noodles with steamed veggies and then add steamed white rice. Teriyaki chicken is a usual choice for me as well. I enjoy the Chicken Egg Roll and I usually add that as well. The restaurant is clean, orderly, from the visible cooking area where the cooks are busily cooking all the dishes, to the dining area where the customers are seated and happily enjoying their meals. I come here because I see the food items are always fresh, tasty and a lot of good selection. Craving Chinese cuisine? Panda Express has it down and perfect! ??“
“Had an issue with my oder a month ago. Live too far to retun, so I called and spoke with an employee EFRAIN. Told me to save my receipt, and when I happen to be around this area, stop by for a replacement. Today I remembered I had a replacement meal. Why not get it honored. Somehow, whomever informed me to retun that my name would be in a book. Just show the receipt someone would help me. It wasn't, I looked like a fool asking for handouts 🤣. That's not true... But Ms.Angie help me out and noticed either me being frustrated or embarrassed. Didn't want the whole order to be replaced. Just the few items to make it even. Thanks Ms.Angie for providing great customer service and making things right.“
“The best panda express location! They are quick and the food is always fresh and tasty.Of course the portions they give will always be tracked (shrimp count, etc.) But as far as the quality goes, the food is the best quality compared to other Panda locations in San Diego.“
“Felt the urge to give this review in the parking lot, the staff impressed me that much. The staff made the atmosphere friendly while continuing to quickly fill orders. They informed us of the rewards program and saved us money on our order and did so in a friendly manor. I highly recommend going to this specific location because of this awesome team.“
“I normally don't eat out at fast food Chinese restaurants due to the poor quality of the food.
However, I was pleasantly surprised today for a more pleasant experience at this Panda Express location on the Naval Base. We ordered the Family meal that was more than enough for 4 hungry people with extras to bring home. Sahar helped our family with providing 3 freshly prepared dishes upon request. We didn't mind the 15 min wait.
She was incredibly attentive and respectful in her communication and honoring us as though we were the most important customers she was serving.
The teriyaki chicken was prepared without the sauce which we asked for. The beef broccoli was perfectly made with bright green colorful broccoli that were delicious. The Kung Pow Chicken could have used much less sauce in order to enjoy the flavors of the veggies and chicken.

“Panda Express is the best !! The staff is friendly and enthusiastic Arturo, Mildrid, Fred, and Liliana are amazing . My favorites are the super greens, honey sesame chicken, and mushroom chicken . They are also one of the only places that have strawberry fanta its soooo good .“
“Ordered the 1 item bowl with soda and veggie spring rolls (no dipping sauceincluded in bag) through Door Dash. I requested a few soy sauce for the bowl and rolls. When I received my order, there was no soy sauce and no napkins in the bag (what restaurant sends out delivery orders with no napkins?). When I called the restaurant, the employee who answered the phone tried to blame it on the Door Dash driver for no making sure they were in the bag. I quickly reminded her that it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure the orfer is complete before the driver gets there to pick it up.“
“Like most Panda Express restaurants. Food is good and fresh, However, depending on the hour you go, they maybe out of certain items and you may need to wait. Servers try hard but employees can be overwhelmed with rush hour traffic.

The irl ordering line never progresses because they prioritize app-orders. Like my food will be made and ready and I’ll be waiting to pay for 5 minutes while they pack 5-10 online orders ahead of me.

Today I ordered grilled chicken thigh steak and orange juice chicken.
The grilled chicken thigh steak is really delicious. Even in Taiwan, it is considered a delicious grilled chicken thigh steak.
I heard that orange chicken is a favorite among Americans and wanted to give it a try, but the overall dough was too thick and the sauce was too sweet.
Noodles are okay for staple food. I don’t recommend it for rice. I will order half vegetables and half noodles next time.

If you get super greens instead of rice and if you're careful with your protein choices (stay away from the breaded stuff), it can be a very healthy (diabetes friendly) option. I had work today and didn’t have time to drive and pick up from our usual restaurant. Placed an order for the family on New Years Day using the Panda Express App. It was super easy to navigate. Upon arrival, I added the vegetable spring rolls, they made them fresh to order. Staff was welcoming, they smiled, they greeted you and they were all super helpful. The food was half the price of our usual go to restaurant and Panda Express offered more flavor. Everyone was happy, the food was fresh, hot and filling. We spent less than $12 each for four adults.
