“Great customer service and nicest team I’ve ever met! I accidentally dropped my food on the ground while getting water and the management team swooped in and handled it so well. Even offered me a new plate free of charge. It’s durning dinner rush hour and they are able to clean up the mess I made effortlessly and efficiently while offering me a new plate.

But they cooked some fresh for me and am SO THANKFUL for that. Also, the young man who took my order was super friendly. “Had an issue with my oder a month ago. Live too far to retun, so I called and spoke with an employee EFRAIN. Told me to save my receipt, and when I happen to be around this area, stop by for a replacement. Today I remembered I had a replacement meal. Why not get it honored. Somehow, whomever informed me to retun that my name would be in a book. Just show the receipt someone would help me. It wasn't, I looked like a fool asking for handouts 🤣. That's not true... But Ms.Angie help me out and noticed either me being frustrated or embarrassed. Didn't want the whole order to be replaced. Just the few items to make it even. “I really do appreciate good customer service, but the young woman behind the counter went above and beyond. She not only suggested I add their app to my iPhone to get a 20% discount, but patiently helped me do it when I was fumbling with the process. She saw as sweet as can be, and unfortunately I did not catch her name. I return to that’s spot at least once a month for a lunch break while at work in the La Jolla area. With excellent customer service and food, why wouldn’t I?“

“I love that this location is 4 minutes from Hotel Circle. I advise picking up an order two hours before their 11PM closing. I went their 15 min. before they closed. The food was old, hard and unedible. I returned it the next and got my money back. The night before the meal was so GOOD I went back the next night, but arrived too late when the food was no longer freshly made. I highly recommend the location.“

“On a typical Friday afterwork stop to figure out what's for dinner, Panda Express always tops my list! The location right on my way is at Camino Canada St., El Cajon, CA, and right in the heart of a shopping district (next to Walmart, Wells Fargo, etc.). A short line of customers is usually present, however, it doesn't take too long to get your order in, as the staff is very attentive, pleasant, friendly & knowledgeable. Every item is delicious, and I usually opt for a lot more veggies, of which I sub the noodles with steamed veggies and then add steamed white rice. Teriyaki chicken is a usual choice for me as well. I enjoy the Chicken Egg Roll and I usually add that as well. The restaurant is clean, orderly, from the visible cooking area where the cooks are busily cooking all the dishes, to the dining area where the customers are seated and happily enjoying their meals. I come here because I see the food items are always fresh, tasty and a lot of good selection. Craving Chinese cuisine? Panda Express has it down and perfect! ??“

“Ordered the 1 item bowl with soda and veggie spring rolls (no dipping sauceincluded in bag) through Door Dash. I requested a few soy sauce for the bowl and rolls. When I received my order, there was no soy sauce and no napkins in the bag (what restaurant sends out delivery orders with no napkins?). When I called the restaurant, the employee who answered the phone tried to blame it on the Door Dash driver for no making sure they were in the bag. I quickly reminded her that it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure the orfer is complete before the driver gets there to pick it up.“

“I normally don't eat out at fast food Chinese restaurants due to the poor quality of the food.

However, I was pleasantly surprised today for a more pleasant experience at this Panda Express location on the Naval Base. We ordered the Family meal that was more than enough for 4 hungry people with extras to bring home. Sahar helped our family with providing 3 freshly prepared dishes upon request. We didn't mind the 15 min wait.

She was incredibly attentive and respectful in her communication and honoring us as though we were the most important customers she was serving.

The teriyaki chicken was prepared without the sauce which we asked for. The beef broccoli was perfectly made with bright green colorful broccoli that were delicious. The Kung Pow Chicken could have used much less sauce in order to enjoy the flavors of the veggies and chicken.

“Like most Panda Express restaurants. Food is good and fresh, However, depending on the hour you go, they maybe out of certain items and you may need to wait. Servers try hard but employees can be overwhelmed with rush hour traffic.

“Apparently according to the other reviews, I must've just got lucky or something. This was the best panda express meal my boyfriend and I ever had hands down. Everything was fresh and hot and it was amazing. Pretty sure the upcharge is just a fee for using a credit/debit card. It was sooo good!!“

But after eating it, I found that it is also quite remarkable.
You can order two kinds of meat on one plate, and you can order half and half of the staple food (rice, noodles and vegetables can be ordered as you like)
Today I ordered grilled chicken thigh steak and orange juice chicken.
The grilled chicken thigh steak is really delicious. Even in Taiwan, it is considered a delicious grilled chicken thigh steak.
I heard that orange chicken is a favorite among Americans and wanted to give it a try, but the overall dough was too thick and the sauce was too sweet.
Noodles are okay for staple food. I don’t recommend it for rice. I will order half vegetables and half noodles next time.

“You can always rely on Panda Express. If you get super greens instead of rice and if you're careful with your protein choices (stay away from the breaded stuff), it can be a very healthy (diabetes friendly) option. And if you do want to treat yourself, I highly recommend the honey walnuts shrimp and the orange chicken. Perfect American Chinese food.I usually get the family meal and eat for 3 or 4 days.“
