Small poke bowl shop in a plaza without much parking, but there is street parking. This was my first time building my own poke and I may have added too much, but it was good! The service was quick and pleasant. I got the medium size, which comes with three scoops of protein. Avocado was $1 extra for about 5-7 slices.

The only downside is parking, but that's probably why they do a bunch of takeout or delivery orders (at least while I was there).

While I was waiting in line, one of the strings of lights hanging on the ceiling fell down and hit me in the head - they were VERY large bulbs and it felt like someone punched me in the head. The worker comes to me and doesn't say anything and just picks up the light to take it away. When I get to pay for my bowl, they give me a couple egg rolls for free. I would have expected to get my bowl comped for one of their light fixtures falling on me? And to not even get an apology, I felt very disrespected and will definitely be telling everyone I know to steer clear.

Tried them today for the first time. Ordered a build your own poke bowl. Super fresh ingredients and a great selection of toppings and sauces! The staff was very helpful and friendly with good suggestions. They also have bowl options with pre-set ingredients that looked good. Plus they were playing some Bob on the sound system, always a bonus!
Highly recommend and can't wait to return to try some other items.

Yummm Poke Chop is insanely delicious!!! Such fresh poke, healthy sides, unique toppings - really fun to customize your bowl or burrito! I had a medium bowl with marinated tuna, seared tuna and salmon. It was so big it fed me for two meals! All the fish had a good texture and taste, their sauces to mix with were so good. You can do 50-50 salad and rice if you want. The service was super friendly, the place was clean, there is parking in the lot. Highly recommend and I will 100% be back soon!!

This was the best poke I have had so far in San Diego! It was the closest to Hawaiian poke as I have seen! It did not disappoint. I am so glad I ventured to this Hillcrest area again. It was fresh, delicious, quick, and the flavors danced beautifully on my tongue! 1000% recommend. You cant tell from the outside but it's cute inside.

this place is really good, but i'm about ready to stop ordering from this place because they don't know how to handle avocado for some reason. if it's brown, you don't serve it. please train your staff. or make it not an extra charge. i don't want to pay extra for brown avocado. it tastes bad.
