Ponce's Mexican Restaurant Reviews
Happy Anniversary! Go Ponce’s!!!
I had a good time at this place. Food wasn’t anything extraordinary, in fact, in the kids menu, the rolled taco was too crispy for a toddler to eat. Server also put a very hot plate in front of our toddler, should have been more mindful about that. Surf burrito was good, but the cabbage was dry without any sauce to it, I’d prefer some coleslaw instead. Has potential but needs to fine tune these little things.
Everything was much better when they first opened. Now the food is too salty and disappointing.
Ponce's Mexican Restaurant in various locations offers a flavorful experience with dishes like shredded beef tacos and birria tacos. The restaurant provides a nice atmosphere with good service, making it a place to revisit often. While some margaritas and main courses may be just fine, there have been recent concerns about management and staff responsiveness, leading some customers to feel undervalued. Although the food and margaritas generally satisfy, there are notes about the lack of a happy hour menu and the quality of certain dishes. The Cheese queso dip with ground beef and Mango Margarita remains a must-try. Ponce's is a neighborhood Mexican eatery with definite potential to become a go-to spot for quick and tasty meals, but it may need to fine-tune certain aspects of service and food quality to fully realize that potential.
