Finally decided to write a review for one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego! I’ve been coming here at least twice a month ever since I moved to SD, and honestly, it’s one of those places I can always count on for a great experience.

Really loved sitting at the bar and enjoying a delicious meal at The Ponyboy!!! Absolutely love the decor!! So much to look at and reminisce on past memories. Felt like an old Hollywood experience! Delicious food and kind staff!! I will definitely be back!!!
Had a really great experience here. Food and service was great. Hope I get a chance to go back.

Ponyboy offers a special night out with a gorgeous, super cool retro 50s vibe and atmosphere that is pretty retro and unlike a typical restaurant. The staff is super friendly, professional, helpful, and attentive, all dressed in a general vintage look. The menu is nostalgic, featuring unique takes on classic comfort food with elevated ingredients and style, and many unique menu items you can't find anywhere else. The food is fantastic, very good, and pretty good. Specific standout dishes include the best Prime Rib, delicious deviled eggs as a must-have, and creative items like chicken and waffles with caviar. All the cocktails are delicious, including unique options like the bubblegum margarita. The creativity is a breath of fresh air. While some note the prices are a bit high for the portion size, the overall experience is highly recommended. It is a hidden gem where guests definitely plan to return.
