I’ve been here before years ago. The service was still great. Our waiter gave great recommendations for our night out. However the food left something to be desired. The fried chicken was too oily and the breading was coming off like it wasn’t stuck to the chicken. The creamed corn was delicious, sweet and tangy. The biscuits are always a good choice. Otherwise if you have dietary restrictions they will help you to find something you can eat. Not sure if I’ll come back as the food was so different than I remember. Nothing wrong with that but it did need some work

Nice place, with good food. Visited for brunch, and really enjoyed it.

Love Rustic Root! Friend was in town and we decided to go there because the waiters and waitresses are always so nice and the ambiance is great. We both got the pork chop. Was excellent!

Had a great night minus the bartender. Extremely rude. I ordered a double - he put in a short glass, I let him know it was a double as I had ordered one prior and it was served in a tall glass - and he said “duh I know I’ve been doing this 10* years” and I was like?? Okay well it looks like it’s a single. Then he tool the drink, poured it into a tall glass, and topped it off w tonic and told me to buzz off. This interaction was really really rude and could’ve easily without the attitude been put in different glass.

When I didn’t tip, by pressing the no tip button, he grabbed the toast away and then SIGNED MY SIGNATURE ON HIS OWN BEHALF. I understand maybe you’re annoyed with the crowds, I understand it’s NYE but customer service was 0, and rudeness was a 10. And signing for me? Because you’re bothered? That’s grossly inappropriate.

Went in for a happy hour for my wife’s birthday (vegetarian). The atmosphere is fantastic and service was good. We bought mostly off the happy hour menu (half price) bill was still 150 for three people (2 adults and 1 kid), with 3 adult drinks and 1 entree.

I’m from the south so do NOT be fooled by the saying southern fried or made, it is not original recipe of 11 herbs and spices. The food is just blah, biscuits are more sweet and less savory, fried chicken breading is off but the chicken was tender, veggie options are extremely limited and other than the corn not great.

I’d only recommend this place for happy drinks and move to a more accommodating restaurant for food.

perfect ribeye ... A positive atmosphere is one that creates a sense of comfort, warmth, and relaxation for diners. Friendly hosts, who greet customers and guide them to their seats, also play a crucial role in setting a welcoming tone for the dining experience.

The atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL during the holidays. We sat at the roof top bar, So festive and warm, and warm as in heaters to keep you from getting too chilly. Our waitress seemed not present and very lost and withdrawn, I asked for a virgin dirty diet coke, but she said everything is batched so I couldn't get one without alcohol. But the ambiance stole the show!

Went for brunch, the food wasnt that bad and we got a table fairly quick but this drink. I dont know how to explain it, but it tasted like Macy's. I believe it was a lemonade but it just tasted like the inside of a macys. I had also got breakfast sliders which were not that bad and the fries they came with were OK the place was nice and servers were very polite and kind. It was a last minute pick but I think I'd give it another shot for perhaps, dinner.

We came here for New Year’s Eve dinner. We made a reservation in advance and arrived when it’s open. We got seated right away. The decorations were modern and festive. The manager Alex (i think?) was very friendly and came by to chat with us for a bit and wished us a happy new year.

We ordered Wagyu meatballs, lobster pappardelle, roasted Atlantic salmon, Louisiana Jambalaya and cast iron cookie to share. They were all delicious especially the salmon. The cookie was very big and rich, enough for four of us to share. I also enjoyed Java martini.

I would give them 4.5 stars. We were a party of four but we were charged 20% tip automatically (although i don’t mind the %), just don’t like how it’s calculated when it’s taxed on the tips.

Overall, it’s a great dining experience. I would go back for brunch one day.

Great ambience, service was okay but we didn’t get served plates although we were a big group and sharing, we dropped a lot of food on the table and floor because of that and I was sad to see food wasted.. food was good but not amazing. Bacon mac and cheese was actually bomb. Fireplace on the table was cute

The jerk chicken did not jerk. Nice clean bathrooms though. That's all I have.

Thank you so much for a great Christmastime experience! The food was delicious and beautifully presented (I got the salmon), the drinks were festive and fun, and most importantly the service was excellent! Everyone from the hostesses to the servers to the bussers was so kind, thoughtful, and efficient. It's hard to find good service in restaurants these days, and I really appreciated it. This is the difference-maker that will make me want to return.
