I’ve only had the regular menu once or twice, and while it was good, the weekend only sushi menu is where it’s at. Probably the first place I went to to get vegan sushi and many years later it’s still just as good. The dynamite roll in particular is … bomb!
This was my first time coming to Sipz. The food was freshly made and delicious. There was more than enough per person per serving. The cookies are fresh and soft. All the pastries smell really good and are freshly made. I highly recommend the garlic jalapeño fries and the Mongolian veggies. The only thing I would say was the crispy rolls were a little too crispy for me and need some seasoning. Other than that the atmosphere and service were great.
Food is great, as usually, but things have changed. Now one sits, looks over menu, and decides what they want, and then walk up to counter to order. At least food is brought to the table when ready. Server was often came by to check that all was well. Nice. All in all, a great meal...only bad thing however, prices have gone up quite a bit since visits of the past, almost doubled.
