If you’ve been craving soul food, never had it and wanted to try it, or just don’t know what you want to eat while not trying to break the bank. Soul Food City is definitely the place for you! The food is consistent, hot and fresh, and made with love! (they actually season their food unlike other restaurants I’ve ordered from in San Diego) Definitely a must have if you’re in the area!

Food isn't worth the price. Fried shrimp had the shells on them and vegan collard greens (canned Glory greens) were too salty and vinegary. The fried pork chops were hot, but that had no seasonings on it and they were fried too long. Wouldn't recommend at all.
