I usually like Starbucks but today was not a good showing. Went in this morning for a decaf coffee and the barista processed it and let it sit getting cold for 5 minutes while she kept doing other things while visually seeing me. Finally had to go ask a different barista to grab it for me. Fast forward to this afternoon. Instead of closing its indoor seating at so many stores, Starbucks should charge a little more. It used to be known as a place you could comfortably sit and read or study, even in inclement weather. Congrats to the one in the big shopping mall in Mira Mesa (near the college) that has nice indoor and outdoor seating and plentiful parking. I can see improvement on service. Usually I can smell the rudeness and poor attitude, but today it was a pleasant experience. I got the wrong pastry but it’s not big deal. The place needs to be clean asap. Debris everywhere, unfortunately there it’s way too many homeless around the property. The prices are not bad.
