Teppanyaki Restaurants in San Diego, CA

“My family and I are visiting from Arizona and wanted a nice meal. I found Shogun using Google and decided we could give it a try. First the Google maps was spot on with the directions. However, the prices need a major update. It was me, my husband and our three children (12, 7, & 9 months) I was hoping they had a children's menu, but nope. Both of the children ordered noodles $27 & $28 and potsticker. Neither of them like their food so they did not eat it (lucky for us we now have leftovers). They said the food did not taste right. So of course my husband and I tried it, and concluded it was just different from what they were use to. Each non-alcoholic beverage was $4 each. Our total bill was $200 (before tip) and that was for four meals, two appetizers, and four beverages. In my opinion it was over priced for the quantity of food. But the atmosphere was cool and relaxing and the staff was friendly. This would be a once in a while restaurant or special occasions. We are glad we tried it.“

“Took me back to my childhood. Haven't seen or been to one in a long time. A bit expensive for me, but the food was great. Love the atmosphere and all the staff was friendly and welcoming.I really appreciate the dress code that they have. Didn't cause a problem with my limited wardrobe I had on a short trip. I wish more places has certain moral standards for their locations.“
