I recently had the most incredible staycation at this hotel! It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing getaway. The pool area is a true oasis, and the rooms are so comfortable that you might not want to leave. Plus, if you're feeling a bit more adventurous, there are hiking opportunities nearby. This hotel offers the best of all worlds for a memorable staycation

The entire place is just specular. Every single staff member went above and beyond and was so nice. Nadia got my lunch one day and got me water at the corporate dinner the next night. The pool is exquisite and the world famous Pina coladas absolutely live up to the hype. I was there as a companion for a business conference so we had several functions within the hotel. I spent a significant time in the bathtub. Top tier across the board!

Luxurious rooms. Beautiful golf course views. We were greeted by Mia at the Amaya restaurant and seated outside near a beautiful fireplace. Our sever Peter, provided over the top service making our dinner experience one of my favorite ever. You rock Peter! Thanks again for your great service! We were fortunate to meet the restaurant manager Bonnie at the end of our wonderful dining experience. What a wonderful staff at this beautiful Fairmont hotel.

We had a relaxing time at this lovely resort. Service and food was great. Beautiful and well kept grounds. Nice, roomy accommodations. Great view from room. Service at restaurants, bar, room service, valet and bellman were all fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

From the minute we checked in until we checked out, the staff could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. Everyone was pleasant, kind, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was beautiful and was sparkling clean.

A fabulous birthday weekend away for my wife with dinner at the 3 Star Addison being the highlight. Unfortunately, the hotel wished me happy birthday and not her after I pre-coordinated, and there was a mix-up on the room after I checked in online that the front desk sorted out eventually, but it led to a bumpy start for our celebrations.

This property lives up to all expectations! A completely immersive experience - I felt like I had left the country. The service was outstanding and my every want and need was catered to. Neil played a special role in making every aspect of our trip memorable. Vladimir and Nadia at Amaya restaurant were amazing and the personal fire pit dinner we had with the wonderful jazz band will not be forgotten. It was everything and that you expect from Fairmont.

I LOVED my stay at the Fairmont. I was there for two nights and it was splendid. The grounds are beautiful with wonderful hiking trails, tennis courts, and pools. You really feel like you are tucked away in a beautiful escape. Dinner outside at the clubhouse by the fire pits with live jazz was definitely a highlight. What really made my experience memorable was the service. Matthew at valet was very attentive and Vladimir and Nadia at Amaya for breakfast were wonderful. Neil at the front desk really made our stay very comfortable. He was attentive to our needs, talked with us throughout our stay and did everything in his power to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to going back!

So this is a high end property with some high end touches but comes with challenges that are just plain disappointing at this price point On the good side Nice really comfortable rooms spacious and I had a delightful balcony with a courtyard view that was nicely private from adjacent rooms. Nice shower and bathroom and decent inclusion of espresso machine with 4 ‘real’ coffee pods (not the usual 2 real and 2 non caffeinated which was a pleasant surprise). The darkness and lack of any spurious extra light at night was a great positive and not often the case. So top marks for this The negative Let’s start with the credit card hold for your stay which on my card was declined for fraud alert and created no end of aggravation as I had to call to clear my credit card for use. When I saw the hold placed I pretty much fell of my chair - $2000 for a one night stay! That’s insane and no wonder got tagged as possibly fraudulent. My rate was nowhere near this? Signage and finding places - woeful. Not just me but I met several other guests as I got lost and frustrated reveal times navigating the property rooms etc Then the sound proofing was bad. I had a king with a connecting door that was closed but I might as well have been sitting in the connected room as I listened to the conversation going on in there. Thankfully it did not persist into the night but I was worried and turned on the TV just to block out the conversation Really expected much better for this level of hotel

The pillows were not the greatest, hotel front desk was terrible. Not worth for the money and get terrible service. Restaurant food was not the best and service was not the best. And prices were extremely high not worth it!!

Everything is just perfection at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Every single team member is fantastic and welcoming, professional and friendly. Perfect location fo couples but also for families with kids of all ages. The valet was so kind and helpful, Christian at the front desk was very detailed and informative, the room was perfection… and the bathroom!! Wow gorgeous!! The view from every room is just fantastic and so relaxing. My mother and I went for a 90min massage at the SPA and it was the most relaxing and safe space with all the needed amenities! Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi.. the robes are extremely soft. Brody and Sandy (I was so relax that I am not sure I got the name right, sorry) were so professional and extremely talented. They have two different pools area so you can choose to be at the pool with your kids but also have the option of an “adult pool” to enjoy some relaxing time. A special thank you to Amanda E and Kai who made us feel like home away from home. It was our 4th visit and I can wait to go back again.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. Great way to start our road trip! Our first three nights of holiday started here after we arrived from London and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is everything you would expect from a Fairmont. Staff are discreet and we didn’t ever see a housekeeping cart in the corridor! Staff always stop, stand to one side and say good morning as you pass any of them in the corridor. Can’t fault it on any level.

Despite overcast, drizzly weather, we enjoyed our weekend at the Fairmont tremendously. Our room was very large, with a small balcony that overlooked the back of the property and was very quiet. The other guests seemed to be primarily families with young kids, so we were pleasantly surprised that we did not hear much noise from other rooms. This is a luxury resort and as such, there is superb attention to detail and excellent customer service. We had a great time on their front lawn in the evening playing bocce ball, listening to live music, and enjoying drinks from the outdoor bar. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and we disappointed in the quality, quantity, and price. We chose to eat the rest of our meals offsite.

The grounds are beautiful! However, I wished they used an electric garden blower. The noise from the blower was annoying. It didn’t run long but it doesn’t take much to distract a quite moment. The staff were as kind and professional as expected. The room was comfortable and quite except for the lack of a soft close toilet seat. Lol I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Magnificent luxury resort with every possible amenity. Customer service is beyond expectation. We were a large family group with many children. Every hotel employee we encountered was so friendly & happy to help. There are many, many activities, bubbles at the children's pool, ( there are several pools all gorgeous especially the adult pool)horseback riding, an amazing spa, archery & more. On weekend nights the front lawn is a party venue with a real live band and dancing, smores toasting over fire pits, yummy food & drinks! Food is good at Amaya, we were there daily challenging the eternally patient wait staff with the demands of 4 children under age 6, the club house Grill has a good Bloody Mary (not as great as the Carosel Bar in New Orleans I still dream about that Bloody Mary) but good. Rooms are huge, magnificent and silent, you will sleep well. Great family luxury vacation!
