I went to the Fairmont Grand Del Mar to meet my brother and elderly mother. This is a gorgeous property, with a 3 Michelin star restaurant and other dining options. In this beautiful hotel, the thing that impressed me the most was the employees, specially Neil and Christian at the Front Desk. A lovely property with friendly staff, but a bit out of the way unless attending a conference or using the golf course. The restaurant on property is usually good for breakfast, my experience at dinner has been mixed. The spa is nice but very expensive.
