The Florence

This is a hidden gem! The place is pretty hidden and isolated which makes it great if you want to get away from the crowds. And if you can get amazing food at the same time what more can you ask for! The moroccan eggs are absolutely delicious. And it's long overdue but last year they had a Dia de los Muertos celebration that was just perfect! Great food, drinks, music, costumes and dog friendly!! Not a lot of large plate choices, and really too expensive, but food was very excellent. Best creamed spinach I ever had. Lots of small plate choices. Its good for social engagements when you are not too hungry. Service was excellent.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. After reading the other reviews, some not so positive, I would certainly return and recommend to friends. The location and venue is hip, nicely decorated in the north county area that to me doesn't have a lot of similar experiences. They have indoor/outdoor seating.
