The Landing is a bright and comfy bar located inside the Grand Hyatt hotel, steps from the lobby and next to the Convention Center. It provides a grand, very nice vibe and is a convenient spot for hotel guests and those in the area. The space seems grand, with a large screen TV, several smaller Vegas-style sized screens, and plug-ins available against the bench seating, making it a place where one can pretty much lounge all day.

Service is frequently highlighted as excellent, with staff described as incredibly gracious, super friendly, attentive, and efficient. Bartenders are noted for heavy pours. While service can be slower during busy times like Comic-Con, the staff is committed to making sure guests are taken care of, even modifying dishes upon request, such as making a veggie pesto pizza vegan.

The menu includes options like pepperoni pizza, veggie pesto pizza, green salad, French fries, and a decadent rich peanut butter tart. Food is generally good, though some items like the pizza can be oily. The location is excellent for shopping and food, basically connected to Seaport Village and within walkable distance to the Gaslamp Quarter. It’s a nice establishment where the excellent service makes all the difference.
