Cocktails are super on point, and exceptional meat-forward food menu. The bison tartare, duck breast, and roasted carrots were all outstanding. The vibe is casual and eclectic, and the service is friendly and non-pretentious.

Food was very good especially the Brussel sprouts elk flank steak and burger. Service was very good but slow. The core was lovely but it was a bit loud. One of the very few places that is open late at night in san diego. Very good , happy hour and late night menus.

We always stop at Lion’s Share for cocktails. They have a wonderful whiskey sour and make a mean dirty gin martini. I love the atmosphere, it almost feels like a speakeasy. This is a really fun place to hang out with friends.

Outstanding drinks; Alejandro in particular curated a cocktail to my specifications that was absolutely AMAZING. The staff is kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable about food and drinks. The aesthetic is wildly appealing; when I say wild I mean WILD. I enjoy the darkly glamorous appeal that Lion Share offers. It's a place for a nice first date, or an after hours cocktail. This venue pleases all palates.

Bottom line this is an excellent bar both in the overall vibe of the place and the cocktails they put out.My partner and I are fans of classic cocktails, and are always looking for where to go when we’re in a new city. I had done some basic research on the usual sites, but it was not until I hit Reddit that the Lions Share started popping up everywhere. The bar comes highly recommended for both their independence and their commitment to their cocktail program. I have to say we were both extremely pleased with our experience. I’d like to give a shout out to John for producing some excellent cocktails both on menu, and with the classics. I look forward to stopping by here the next time we are in town.

Stop scrolling, you've found the right place. This restaurant delivers on every front. The food is exceptionally delicious, showcasing high-quality ingredients with every dish. The staff and the owner exude warmth and hospitality, making the dining experience even more pleasant. We tried the burger, crispy shallots, truffle fries, chicken with risotto, and chocolate budino—all of which were excellent. My husband ranks their burger as the best he's ever had. I cleared my plate. The drinks were also made with care. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy, clean, and fun, creating an inviting and comfortable space. Highly recommended.

I have no words. This is THE place. the food: phenomenal. the vibe: outstanding. the service: so cool. I didn't know what to expect hearing about the game meat menu, but I was absolutely blown away. the brussel sprouts were the way brussel sprouts should be made. the curry oysters were huge and so flavorful. the frog legs were so light and crispy, I never would've expected they were frog legs. and the true star of the show: the duck breast. I couldn't even tell you what made this dish so special. it was such a unique combination of ingredients and yet the flavors were so incredibly balanced and elevated. that's truly a stellar dish. they have a huge cocktail menu with original cocktails and each one was delicious. I will recommend this place to everyone I know that's visiting san diego. I'd recommend making a reservation as it was packed! but the animal prints and atmosphere was such a vibe. Absolute 10/10

I love coming here. The only thing is the menu changes depending on if they have things in stock. Current favorites are the grilled oysters, bison tartare, and sausage board. Wagyu steak frites and the Our burger. The atmosphere is great though it can get crowded.

Highly recommend the sausage board!Food was very good. I got the elk steak, only complaint is that I asked for medium rare and it came out blue. Still very good but too raw for me. My husband's wagyu steak was delicious and cooked to perfection!

One of my favorite restaurants! So underrated, unique, and goes against the grain of the overpriced/mediocre/trendy San Diego food scene. The menus is always exciting with great game meats and so many great flavors, reasonably priced. I can always rely on this being a great place to take clients or host my birthday dinner.Great service, always tactful and professional!
