The best sound system and lighting in a gay bar in San Diego!! The great renovation they did change completely the vibe of the place for good!! And don’t forget about the huge beautiful patio they have with the privacy the every gay men like!!! Definitely one of my favorites place in town!!
Great DR'S big rooms to dance and hang out...fresh air, clean, good bartenders...great laser lighting!

EQ San Diego is a welcoming and inclusive restaurant that attracts a diverse crowd. It has transformed from its previous identity as The Merrow and now features club music, dance lights, and a social staff. The venue boasts a great sound system, a large open dance floor, and a massive outdoor patio. Regulars and newcomers alike are drawn to the variety of events, such as the popular Bear Night and goth events, with something for just about anybody. The atmosphere is relaxed during the day, with a nice big bar, pool table, and fun 80s-90s music, while the nights bring a vibrant mixture of people and immersive electronic music. Strong drinks, good prices, and cute bartenders add to the appeal. Although there is a jukebox and TV, some adjustments could be made to better cater to both the day and night crowds.
