The whole place had kind of a stale odor and I think we had bedbugs because we woke up with bites. The beds were pretty comfy, but the sheets had a bunch of rips in them. Wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but I was a little bit worried about the quality of the sheets and possible bugs so I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.
ROACHES. Musty smell in rooms, rooms hold moisture and it’s humid. Not only that, rooms dusty and dirty, not properly cleaned. Roaches came out, in the bathroom, in our luggage, in the counters. Disgusting. Bad customer service with the night shift front desk! Roman in particular, was very rude and unapologetic and unprofessional. Day shift manager Rebecca very nice.
Mold and bugs inside. Musty smell in AC. Wet wall from water leak. fridge smelled like bug spray Air freshener too
Me encantó! Las habitaciones súper cómodas y muy completas 😍 el desayuno riquísimo y la vista d un río frente a la habitación fue lo máximo 🥰
Nice pool, beautiful resort, but food and service at Tropics Cantina were disappointing. Orderd nachos, a burger and two alcoholic drinks for $100. Fine print on the menu: 6% surcharge to account for minimum wage increase, and 20% service charge added to all checks.
Hey, I get it...times are hard, unfortunately prices have gone up for businesses to stay in business, servers want to be tipped appropriately - and rightly so! But fees on fees, on top of a resort fee?
And just my opinion, but when tips have to be earned and are not just guaranteed, guests might receive actual service. Like, ask if there's anything else you need, pick up finished dishes, or any trash they walk over... Not just drop off what I ordered at the bar. This was just a little irritating and left a bad taste. Sharing a pic of the most expensive bowl of crumbs ever paid for. ($18 "nachos")

Expensive considering what we had. Food ok, drinks did not come until asked for, ice tea was tasteless.

Typical resort food, but tasty and pricy.
We spent couple nights in this little paradise away from virus craving crowd of Black Friday sale! Family friendly resort with awesome staff. Certainly we’ll come back at God’s given time!
Beautiful resort , great view and easy to check in.

Amazing staff. Beautiful location. Feels as though you are in Hawaii.
I wish a took pics of the food. The portions were HUGE. The drinks were strong, and the people were very nice and service was great! My daughter loved the hot dogs and fruit, and the strawberry smoothie. Hot dogs are good beef dogs, HUGE, and grilled. Smoothies tasted great. My only complaint was the hours. I was there Nov 1 - 11th. They were not open at all during the week. I had to walk to the Market or order something from one of their on-site eateries. During the weekend they were only open until 530 or 6. No evening drinks poolside, or even non alcoholic drinks when they have their poolside movie.
Staff was friendly, the food was yummy & the drinks were delicious! Our girls enjoyed the pina colada moothies
Standard poolside food and standard pricing for such. Service is not always easy to find, so we ended up at the bar a few times.
THis, surprisingly was the best food weve had PP. They have good tacos, good quesadillas and good, strong drinks. Fast and easy when you need some sustenance.
