I visited the Firefly multiple times during my stay at The Dana on Mission Bay. I felt very welcome as the staff were all very friendly, customer service oriented, conversational and in some cases off the charts accommodating. The food was excellent. During my various lunches and dinners at Firefly, I had the salmon, the Wagyu burger, which was so delicious, fish tacos, Korean style chicken wings, cheese flatbread, and the herb seasoned chicken. Nice place marred by a 5% junk fee and somewhat uninspired service. Sad that California had to make a special law just to eliminate these types of fees, which comes into effect on July 1st 2024. The ambience is fine and rather classy; the exterior is nice and would be pleasant in the summer. We didn't try the food so I can't comment on that. The drinks are a measured poor with an extra splash. Rather forgettable probably wouldn't come here again but not an unpleasant experience....read full review
