“Best authentic family owned. Close to downtown. As a Salvadoran, I reccomend to all my friends and co workers. They all love it and keep going back. Big thick pupusas, not too much masa on the edges, more stuffing instead. Friendly people, great food. Try the ensalada drink, theirs is really refreshing. Take out only.“
“These are the best pupusas I have had in a long time! The price is reasonable, the owner is friendly and so nice! The location is a bit shady but that is no fault of the business. I highly recommend This establishment because the food is of great taste, value, and quality. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!“
“The food was freshly made and came out fast considering that Salvadorian restaurants always take forever and the Taste of the food was good. The only complaint I can think is that the casamiento was dry and was more rice than beans ?. The pupusas was tasty “
“The waiter recommended the Caldo de Gallina and Wow great recommendation…it was super tasty and just the right amount of serving and the price was fair. The service was wonderful I would recommend this place if your looking for fresh clean meal.“
“This place was great. Delicious food, great service from both the waiter and the cooks, and good environment. We all ordered pupusas and I ordered a sope also. They offer vegan food, just by changing some of the items by not having cheese or sour cream or meat. Their beans are yummy and the plantains are super yummy. Everything tasted good, including their coffee. We will definitely be back here to eat in the future.Vegetarian options: You can get anything here without meat.“
“Hole in the wall place, dropped by around noon this Friday. Parking was limited as the plaza was quite busy. Ordered a horchata, pupusas revueltas, and an order of pasteles de pollo. Waited about 15 minutes. The lady at the counter was kind and patient as I was determining what to order. The food was made to order and delicious, would definitely recommended if you're craving authentic Salvadoran food. Cash or Zelle accepted.“
“Great service, very welcoming and although it's a market there is plenty of seating. Pupusa we're fresh, generous, and delicious. Curtido was just ok .. could have used a little more flavor.. missing some of that zing .. a little bland .. had to add a lot of hot sauce. steak with onions was generous and very flavorful. the casamiento (salvadoran rice and beans) was just mash ... not fluffy and light. Very dissatisfied... nothing like home .... Will return for pupusas ... maybe ... cuz the curtido is what makes it ... and curtido is lacking. Would like to try the plantains and beans ,. Definitely come check it out ... lots of options ... i only tried a few.“
“Food is great, portions are big and the prices low. Plus the restaurant has a very homey feel to it with staff being super friendly making you feel at home! They have the best combination of Mexican and American food and breakfast. We've become regulars in here. Greatly recommend Liberty “
“Live nearby. Always shop at latimex and saw there was a new pupusas restaurant in the corner of the plaza so had to try it. Omg everything was soo good. The pupusas, the cabbage, the salsas. Oohh wee. You can taste the love and care they put into the food. Pupusas are made fresh so it can be a little wait, but its worth it.“
“I have been in search of the best popusa in a 10 mile radius. I come from a dense los Angeles area known for Salvadorian foods. Now that I live in Montclair I have been disappointed with the Salvadoran foods here. UNTIL I found this hidden Gem. Popusa here is NOT oily it's crispy and filled more with food than with dough. Their plates are very authentic.. feels like my wife just served me food at home. It's clean and savory. If anyone in town feels like eating a well experienced salvadoreño cuisine restaurant you found it!“
“This is hands down the best Salvadorean food in the Covina/Azusa. I have tried multiple different spots and this is always the one that I compare them to. I am Salvadorean and the food here taste just like my mom made. Everything is delicious but the pupusas are the best I have ever had. Full of flavor and they don’t skimp on the filling like other restaurants.Try it, you’ll love it.Parking: Large open parking“
“Let me tell you something I've had bad Salvadorian Papusas and believe it me when I say this isn't bad this place was so good I had 7 Papusas kept going back for more. Cheese and Pork with cheese very good juicy fresh and stuffing love it ENJOY.“
“The food here is great, authentic with the flavor of home. The food took a little longer than expected but worth the wait. I wish they had hand made tortillas to elevate the experience. It was a quiet night, they have a set up for live entertainment. I would like to to return to Emiliano's on a night they have the live music.Parking: Plenty of parking on their lot. Not a busy night when I was there. Maybe different when they have live entertainment, but also plenty of street parking around their establishment.“
“I was very pleased with my order of Guanico 2, which comes with 2 pupusas, a corn tamale, black beans and rice and a fried plantain. Great deal for $12.99.I also got the ensalada drink, which was very tasty. I ordered horchata for my son, however neither of us were very fond of it.But no complaints about the food. It was very tasty and I was full halfway through my plate.“
“Thank you, Marley, for taking great care of our large group on a Sunday! We enjoyed the Carne asada fries, many of the burgers & pupusas, I recommend the jalapeños & cheese. They also have really tasty black beans. Great find for the area! Parking is in the back before you drove by the restaurant. Thank you for the tasty chips too!“
