“This restaurant is like a pearl in a clam in HP neighborhood. They serve delicious Salvadoran food. The restaurant can sit about five tables. It's clean and well lighted. There are two colorful wall paintings depicting life of Salvadorans. The cashier has a cheerful voice which enlightens your day. She's very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“After a recent not so positive experience at a nearby Salvadoran restaurant. I’m considering having a family dinner and decided to visit Mi Pueblo due to their consistent 5-star reviews. We were greeted immediately with welcoming smile. The place is spacious with several big party tables. Within minutes the server brought chips, not your typical Mexican chips, as they were drizzled with beans which was a nice twist. She also brought salsa and the traditional curtido. We ordered pupusas and 2 main dishes. We. The pupusas were large, cheesy and full of flavor. The chicken guisado was well presented and had all the traditional flavors I expected. The salpicon dish was surprisingly very good and would highly recommend it if you like the dish. Overall, were not disappointed
After a recent not-so-great experience at another nearby Salvadoran restaurant, I was a little hesitant about where to take the family for dinner. I came across Mi Pueblo and noticed all the consistent 5-star reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. Glad we did!
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with plenty of large tables, so it seems like a great spot for families or bigger groups.
Our server brought out chips pretty quickly, and these were definitely not your typical Mexican chips. They were drizzled with beans, which was such a nice little twist. We also got salsa and the traditional curtido.
We ordered pupusas and two main dishes. The pupusas were huge, cheesy, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The chicken guisado was nicely presented and had all those traditional Salvadoran flavors I was hoping for.
The surprise of the night was the salpicón. I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually really good and probably something I'd order again. If you like salpicón, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Overall, we were not disappointed at all. Good food, generous portions, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. After our last experience, Mi Pueblo was a refreshing change. I can definitely understand why this place gets so many great reviews. We'll be back!“

“I've never been there at night but it still gets good. I go to breakfast often and I love the re-vamp they have done. The menu has a new look even the workers are more professional. I really like the pupusas at this restaurant. 10/10 I recommend Bon appetit!“

“Good spot for a quick bit or a full meal. I stop like ritual every morning for my pan con frijoles/huevos/creso duro, can't go wrong. The food is delicious and the girls are nice, not mean like other places I've gone. I think it is a spot that is underrated, been in a corner, no parking lot. Feels cozy. Like one of those little spots, you go in El Salvador and get surprised.“

“While this small place might just be in a car wash, do not overlook this hiddengem when looking for pupusas. We have been coming here for years and the flavors are perfect. The pupusas are big, yet full of flavor and made fresh. This also means the wait times might be longer so if you do have larger orders, I recomend calling in ahead. They also have other food dishes such as soups,tacos and even tamals. This is a must try place for fans of food in general and especially salvadorean food. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of high quality food you get.“

“Just one detail that I want you to be able to correct is the tanning that you can grind the marjoram a little because it has some very long twigs and one of those sticks got stuck in my throat and I couldn't get it out until with the help I took it out with some tweezers. “This past Saturday, I went there. I ordered their guanabana water and it was delicious and refreshing. I have eaten there several times and I have never gotten sick. Their food is tasty. Be willing to spend $25.00 per person. Their waters are sold for $7.00 and are quite large. Dishes vary between $15.00 and $25.00. they prepare pupusas, guaraches, sopes, fresh, right out of the grill. And they have bathroom service, which is difficult to find in the Fashion District. You will not leave disappointed. 🍀“

“I'm not Salvadorian, but I love Salvadorian foods. This restaurant makes me even more of a pupusa-lover. Since I don't know Spanish, the Google translator helps me to communicate with the employees. But I even love it. Definitely, more often I will come back to order my dinner from this restaurant!
