“If you are looking for some authentic and tasty popusas in Pasadena, then look no further because this place has them. The variety of options that you can choose from is unbelievable. From the classic revuelta to fish popusas, you are bound to find one that's right for you. However, I do have a completely different opinion on their Mexican menu. I have tried their tacos and sopes numerous times and those have always lacked flavor. Not sure if it's the tortilla/dough that they use but it can definitely be better. So I just stick to their popusas. One more thing to keep in mind is that the popusas are made fresh so it can take at least 10 min for your order to be done. So call ahead to ensure that you don't wait long when paying.“

“This restaurant is like a pearl in a clam in HP neighborhood. They serve delicious Salvadoran food. The restaurant can sit about five tables. It's clean and well lighted. There are two colorful wall paintings depicting life of Salvadorans. The cashier has a cheerful voice which enlightens your day. She's very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“The best Pupusas I ever had! (Don't tell my wife) $3 each?! Are you kidding me! I tried pork beans and cheese, beans and cheese, cheese and Jalapeño and Asada. All were hot and juicy and incredible but surprisingly I liked the cheese and Jalapeño best. I mean "queso" and Jalapeño of course.
Cash only.
Bring a dirty car. ??“

“Just one detail that I want you to be able to correct is the tanning that you can grind the marjoram a little because it has some very long twigs and one of those sticks got stuck in my throat and I couldn't get it out until with the help I took it out with some tweezers. I hope you pay attention to this detail.“

“This place is a small family owned business - the workers inside are super nice. The food is prepared fresh and so takes 10-15 min to prepare. The papusas are really good - my favorite is the carnitas and cheese. The peacado maharo (fried fish) is very tasty with lots of protein. The shrimp dishes are good as well. I would recommend this place definitely, and is super affordable.“

“Delicious Salvadoran food at a good price. Good servants with attention to details and a smile. I liked that there was no reggaeton music but from Central America and the Caribbean because that is music that Salvadorans listen to. We are not interested in knowing how many the reggaeton player slept with, or how he treated her in bed, or that he has a VIP of old wives. I hope they always stay like this.“

“Best Pupusas we have ever eaten!! Soo Yummy!! We ordered 3 cheese, 4 queso con loroco, and 3 revueltas. All delicious, although queso con loroco is our favorite! Everyone there gave excellent customer service and that is a plus! Finally how can I forget, the pan dulce that we tried. I would not be able to explain characteristics but I can 100% say it was DELICIOUS. My husband bought two at first then after trying it and already in the car he went back and bought 3 more. In my opinion still weren't enough!!!!! They were gone asap!!. Lol. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy authentic Salvadorian food! ( FYI, my husband and my son mentioned that while waiting for order they noticed some other plates on tables which look very appealing)
Parking: Parking lot is behind the restaurant. As well as paid street parking in front.“

“This place is a hidden gem! First time trying out their liver with sautéed onions with veggies and rice and let me tell you it was worth it, I also ordered their signature Salvadorean dish Chicarrón pupusas with red spicy tomato sauce and pickled cabbage curtido and they were one of the best combos I've ever had.“

“The best spot in LA for Pupusas. They aren't just big, but they actually taste amazing. And the yucca frita with chicharrón is great. My favorite pupusas are the cheese (the cheese pull is insane). Parking is hard to find but def worth it. Pro-tip: don't park in the laundromat next door they'll tow your vehicle. Cash-Only also.“

“I'm not Salvadorian, but I love Salvadorian foods. This restaurant makes me even more of a pupusa-lover. Since I don't know Spanish, the Google translator helps me to communicate with the employees. But I even love it. Definitely, more often I will come back to order my dinner from this restaurant!
Wheelchair accessibility: Park rear with handicap placard, and there is wheelchair accessible entrance.“

“MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SALVADORAN food in all of LA! The pupusas are fat, they’re not too greasy and they are always consistently amazing! My favorite is the revuelta (pork, cheese and beans), it’s so good I don’t even need sauce or cortido. Also DONT SLEEP ON THE STEAK FRIES! OMG the steak fries, they literally are meant to be shared but I have been known to smash the entire box on occasion 😂“

“I came for the Caldo and Pupusas. They were good but I was surprised the female server charged us hot water (no refills) for 3.25 each x 2 = $6.50. it wasn't anywhere in the menu nor did she mention it before serving there is a charge for hot water. Avoid the female server and look for the other guy who is super nice and efficient. I came back because the other guy was worth my visit.“

“I’ve tried Salvadorian food at various places, but this restaurant is by far the best. The quality of the food is amazing, with reasonable prices and excellent service. They’ve also recently remodeled, making the space bigger and more modern, which adds to the overall experience.
I highly recommend this place“

“I loved the sopa de pata. Very clean and flavorful The Tamal de Chipilin was really good, and they're filled with the same beans they use in their Pupusas! The sopa de costilla con Chipilin was the star of the show for me. Everything was well served and tasty.“

“Came here for a quick lunch during the week. It was very busy with a short line outside, but most people were placing or picking up to-go orders. There's only about 10 tables inside, but it cleared quickly.Ordered the Pupusas, Sopes, and a Burrito. Pupusas were great, there's about 15 different fillings to choose from. Of the 3, my favorite was the queso y jalapeno, but all were good. Sope was also good, had a very crisp base and generously topped. All the ingredients were fresh and masa was homemade.“
