Angkor Borei Restaurant

Never went to this restaurant before, but ordered after reading about them in this article: "One of the Bay Area's only Cambodian restaurants will permanently close after 30 years" Their last day is June 15!! :( get their delicious food while you still can! I ordered the Ahmohk (coconut curried fish) and Prahok (Stewed Ground Pork). Both were delicious.

A nice neighborhood gem! THE WAIT There was no wait on a Friday for lunch (early March). This was just as all the COVID stuff was starting - there was only one other table with customers, and it was a mom and her son - regulars, it seemed. The best cambodian food in the daly city/sf area. The lady who works there has been working there for years with her husband and she's super sweet! If you go you have to try the pumpkin curry, the cambodian crepe, the spinach leaves, the larb, sour soup, and the fried rice. Try getting a fresh coconut to drink! it's super fresh. prices are worth it. please support and order takeout during this difficult pandemic. this place will not disappoint! love this place!
