In addition to the perfectly made coffee drinks, what sets this cafe apart from any others I’ve been has got to be the food. Avenues is such a gem making delicious and highly original sandwiches, breakfast bites, and best of all the Musubis to go (they barely last tho).
The menu is thoughtful, local, and unique. Go and support this lovely local business and take some food/drinks a block down to the beach! Perfect start to your day.

In and out coffee shop, no place to really sit. Atmosphere is dark and dreary. Poorly fitting lid allowed scalding hot coffee to seep under the lip, slowly burning my fingers, one at a time, on the walk home. No pour over option. The staff seemed okay. Surf vibes are cool. Coffee is good.

Lots of outdoor seating, great for chowing down in the sun.
We got breakfast sandwiches and Musubis, all of which were very tasty. The Musubis are also mostly gluten free (with I think 2 flavours being the exception to that!)
I had the salmon and tofu Musubis, both of which were delicious — and gluten free!
