⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can't Miss). San Francisco is home to many great bakeries, but B. Patisserie is a local and international staple. Peak hours should be avoided and parking can be a little bit of pain since you'll have to find street parking somewhere nearby. There is a good amount of seating, but can be challenging on a weekend. Their menu is vast, but I would stick with the laminated pastries and skip the tartines...
Good patisseries are hard to find, and as someone who knows and appreciates good pastries, I was blown away by this place.
I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you would choose.
I tried 4 different pastries and the big cookie and they were all amazing.

We got the chocolate chip cookie, a banana almond croissant, chocolate kouign-amann, and a peach scone. The kouign-amann was like a mini croissant with a melted chocolate topping. The banana almond was like crossing banana bread and a croissant, the best part was the crispy edges, they were like crispy chocolate chip cookie pieces. The chocolate chip cookie was like a Panera cookie. The scone was ok but plain and had very little peach flavor.
