Wow! For starters, this place really does run like clockwork given it's location and size of the establishment and for how busy it gets! I really was impressed with the crowd control and all that. Entering and exit lines are clearly mark and you go through the line, looking at the display case of what you want, they box it up, then you move out of the line and over to an available register to pay. I mean, it is a simple concept, but they just execute it really well, compared...
My favourite place for kouign amanns! Definitely try the original and any seasonal ones they may have, I loved the passionfruit one! Their other specialty is probably the bostock. It tasted good but just overall not my preferred pastry. I would say if you’re a croissant snob, the ones here will disappoint. But definitely get the kouign amanns! Oh and the black sesame latte is great as well.

Not bad, not great. Middle of the road patisserie with unsatisfying coffee. Overrated, it’d be better placed in an overly-touristic Parisian neighborhood.
Friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere, and clearly a neighborhood staple. Glad I gave it a shot, but far better options exist in SF.
