My now husband and I were lucky enough to have our September 2025 wedding at Beretta on Divisadero. The number one feedback we received from guests was that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The calamari, arancini, meatballs, margherita with burrata pizza, and espresso martinis got the most shoutouts from guests. Everyone working that night was so accommodating and friendly and helpful; they felt like friends by the end of the night. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Raul and his staff. An additional shoutout to Courtney with events for being so easy to work with.
Aside from our wedding, we eat at Beretta often. It is one of our favorite restaurants - consistently great food and drinks, and a fun/vibey/cozy atmosphere. We go at least once a month for date night, but we also have gone for milestone occasions (30th birthday dinner, meeting the in-laws, etc). It is the perfect restaurant for both casual and special get togethers.

The service is really slow, had to cancel my drink because they still hadn’t brought it 20 mins after ordering. Had to ask multiple times for water. The pizza is ok, wouldn’t recommend getting the mushroom pizza but the sausage pizza is pretty good.

Food was good. We had couple pizzas (a bit too oily but tasty), summer risotto was great. Meatballs were not - a bit chewy.
The service was bad. Food came out all at once, no place on the table for even water glasses, all plates were left when empty. Really unpleasant
Atmosphere was way too loud - and not from people chatting, which is nice- but music that was blasting at times, then they would lower the volume, then blast again. Unnecessary

Decided to try out the new Beretta on Divisidero. If you like a buzzy, noisy place with somewhat loud music, it is a good choice. A little hard to have a conversation. Had asked for our orders to be served simultaneously but my wife's came out first and she was almost finished when mine arrived. Also if you like spicy, definitely a good choice. A bit too much for me especially spicy broccolini ? Service was great and loved the decor. Probably won't go back.

Good food. Excellence service. We went at 5pm when it was quiet and could talk. By 6pm it was packed and you couldn't even have a conversation. They should engage a noise consultant to see how this could be improved because it really was unbearable. Also, we had the eggplant caponata but there was hardly any eggplant in it. It was mainly tomatoes and celery. :-(
I tried to eat here on Saturday at 2:30pm. I had my dog with me and was expecting to eat outside with her like I have before.
I stood in the doorway with her outside and me just inside, door slightly ajar, for almost 10min, trying to get eye contact. Eventually a couple came in to wait. *IMMEDIATELY* the waiter comes over to help *them*. I call it out, he acknowledges me but waves it off, and goes back to help them. I ask to see a manager and he says “hey, I don’t say anything”. Nevertheless I will never ever go here again.
