I made a 7:15 PM reservation on Valentines evening way back on Feb 4th and was required to put a credit card down so they could charge a $25 per head fee if we no-showed. I confirmed our plans to make the reservation no less than three times in the week leading up including the very morning of the reservation. At 4:42 PM I received a message through the OpenTable app that they were canceling my reservation due to over booking, I replied through the app that this was not acceptable and asked for a manager to call me. They did not and they did not even reply to my messages. I attempted to call a dozen times, but once going through their phone system, the phone would ring and then go to a busy signal. Needless to say my wife and I are furious. The only other acceptable reservation we could get was for 8:30 PM in San Carlos. We were seated at 8:50 PM and did not receive our main courses until an hour later at 9:50 PM. This is unreasonably late for my 10-year-old daughter. TLDR: Spasso's poor business practices ruined our 25th valentines Day anniversary and caused us undo and unfair. Stress on what should've been a lovely evening.

Pleasantly surprised! Beretta's been around for a while now, but this is our first time. We just wanted to have something nice before the Valentine's dinner rush, and it wasn't too busy. We had the pizza, the eggs purgatory, and the crab arancini, all of which were lovely!

I've been dining at Beretta routinely for the past 3 years. I suspect they've changed chefs recently, because the food's quality last night was nowhere near where it was when I dined here last around November. The lasagna used to be one of the best meals in the city — it tasted like Sbarro's last night. I truly hope it was just an off night!

Beretta Divisadero is always a great time! We love the arancini, meatballs, squid ink pasta, and any pizza + cocktail! Special shoutout to Sam, George, and Raul for always being so hospitable.

My friend and I went for happy hour before a show and we were so happy we did. The spritz we picked was so flavorful and yummy and the food was just as delicious.

Beretta Divisadero is not the place to sit and enjoy conversation with a friend. The music is really loud, the space amplifies it, the hard wooden seats are uninviting. Service was friendly and prompt- thank you! But with tables of women in their late twenties screaming out to be heard above the music, it had no charm. The pizza was unmemorable.

Three people and food came out when ready and vastly different times, which impacts my experience and the first person wanted to wait and their food was cold by the time the final arrived. Wine arrived after first course was finished. The food was solid but kitchen timing impacted the whole experience.

I was excited to come back after a couple of years as I love the vibe and the food but it wasn't at all what I remember. First I want to the say the service was excellent. The food unfortunately all but one dish arrived lukewarm. 30$ plus for osso bucco with saffron risotto as a main was less than 2 oz of meat and honestly a tapas size portion. Small bites were definitely small and rally not enough to share. Dessert was fabulous as were the mocktails.

Absolutely awful service but the food was good! We made a reservation for a table of 6 the hostess pointed to our table & didn’t guide us there which was a little strange but didn’t really matter. Then it took 20 minutes for someone to even come over to our table. The restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered drinks, appetizers, & food. Two people in our party needed another minute to decide so they put in their drink order & asked the waiter if it was okay if he came back in a few minutes to which he replied “I don’t care” with attitude. Our food came out relatively quickly however the other 2 people still had not had their order taken again. We hadn’t seen the waiter for nearly 15 minutes. Eventually we had to go ask the hostess if someone could take their order. They eventually got their food 30 minutes after ours had been served. Luckily the food was fantastic. The saffron risotto was so creamy & comforting. We loved the variety of the tricolor salad! The cacio e pepe was cooked to perfection. Our drinks were also really well made. Although we were a bit in shock about the lack of service we still had a great time. However, I would probably try the location in the mission instead.

Great food, great cocktails, and great service, despite our server being completely swamped.

I can’t stay away from this restaurant. The pizza, pasta, and other dishes that I have had have been very good. Raul and his team have taken great care of me and the guests that I have brought with me. Each one of my guests has said that they would go back. The bartenders make a great drink, and the wine list is really good. I’d recommend you stop by if you have not been there.

My daughter and I dined at Beretta Divisadero before a show across the street. We hit unexpected traffic and were able to move our reservation easily. We were immediately seated upon arrival and had great service. We both ordered margherita pizzas and they were wonderful! We will absolutely visit Beretta again!

Amazing food, drinks, dessert + service. Vegan options were delicious and didn't feel like an afterthought. Can't wait to come back asap!

Our party of two had a wonderful dinner experience here! Delectable cuisine, attentive but unobtrusive service, and a cozy but energetic vibe. We will definitely be back!!!
