Ive heard about Betty Lou's and since we live in another part of the city, never made it over for a meal. I made reservations and requested a window seat for a group of 5. They accommodated and wanted to please. Service and food was excellent and seafood was very fresh. The pasta was cooked perfectly and you have your of sauce to go with your pasta, all flavorful and again, fresh. Extremely good seafood and pasta. Everything is soooo delicious and authentic . The servants are very friendly, this is like local family style restaurant with history, very relaxing environment. The food is so fresh and tasty, strongly recommend! My favorite is seafood pasta and scallops.

We had the cioppino and it was excellent. A really big bowl that two of us shared. Tons of shellfish in it. Wait staff was attentive. (This was a great alternative when Sotto Mare was too busy).
