Bob's Donut & Pastry Shop used to be the best donut shop in San Francisco (in my opinion). That has since changed, which is disappointing and unfortunate. First The service absolutely is less than courteous or friendly. Especially the lady who works the counter during the graveyard shift or early morning. I'm not sure exactly, I usually stop in around 6-6:30am and she is always there working the counter at that time. She never smiles, she never says "hello" or "how may I help...read full review

Bob's on Baker Street offers a delightful experience with a clean and well-designed atmosphere. Their donuts are renowned for unique flavors such as creme brulee and peanut butter and jelly, and the breakfast donuts filled with cream cheese and savory mixtures are particularly noteworthy. The doughnuts are wonderful with lots of fun choices, and the display case is cute and organized neatly with name tents. The famous Apple Fritter donut is massive and has a great flavor.
