Café Bastille SF is a charming restaurant located in a food marketplace near Chinatown and hotels. They offer authentic French cuisine with a friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and serves delicious food with generous portions, such as beef tartare and beef bourguignon. The service is consistently excellent, providing a small piece of Paris in San Francisco.
The restaurant has a long history, with customers recalling visits during the 80s and 90s when it was a popular lunch spot. The European-inspired interior and classic dishes like salade Nicoise have kept customers coming back over the years. While some recent dishes may have been uneven in quality, the restaurant's bread, wine selection, and attentive service have been praised. As the news of the restaurant's upcoming closure spreads, customers are making the most of their final visits, savoring the restaurant's warm atmosphere and cherished memories.
