Great spot to wine taste with friends & family. Chic and fresh decor. I have been to several events here: a going away party, an engagement, a dress rehearsal... and a surprise birthday. All great events. They have a cheese plate that is yummy but overall the appetizers and small plates are disappointing. Wine is the main attraction! The food is a plus if you've arrived famished. Minus a star because it doesn't stay open late on the weekends. This place is posh and is expensive. But most patrons should know this already. Chateau Montelena wine isn't cheap, period. So don't complain about the tasting prices.
One of the most authentic French restaurants in SF! Love coming here with the girls to grab a classy glass of wine to pair with our streak frites (with bone marrow butter - to die for!!!), goat cheese salad (read the ingredients in this Salade de Chèvre out loud: baby lettuce, warm goat cheese, toasted baguette, fuji apple, candied walnuts, apple cider vinaigrette - perfection!!!), or croque during social hour.
