The food and coffee is great once you get it but the customer service is extremely eh and on top of that I have been overcharged multiple times for my order. $17 for an egg sandwich and a bagel? Maybe i'm being stingy but the prices on the board dont match up with the prices that they tell you at the register even when you take tax into consideration. I really want to love this place but cant help but feel like i'm being ripped off everytime I walk in.
I love chai and great chai is hard to come by, let alone find. On a walking excursion, I came across a tiny cafe, almost so small I had to back track to be sure. Needing a pick me up, I saw chai on the menu and ordered one with the addition of 3 shots of espresso and oat milk - totaling $9.90. Luckily I had cash, with a card or Apple Pay less than $10 my total would have included a $0.69 transaction fee. I must admit, the amount paid was well worth it. It is a cozy spot close to the Presido entrance. Walls are full of art from local artists, and they are for sale. Had a plain bagel with two eggs, cheese, and a sausage patty. Food was okay. Neighborhood is full of all kinds of shops, which is a plus.
