It was my first time eating here in San Francisco. I haven't actually been to Chongqing, China, so I don't know the local taste, but it was moderately spicy and delicious. The waiter wasn't the friendly type, but he was friendly. Since it's near Chinatown, it feels more like China than the US, so if you don't like that, it might not suit you. I ate Chongqing somen.
Went the day of Chinese parade in SF. Just walked in without searching the place up. We were immediately seated and service was pretty quick. Server helped us pick out their best vegetarian options. We got the Wuhan Spicy Noodle, vegetarian spring rolls, and the Bok Choy. The Bok Choy was grilled really well and had a great base to go with it. Everything we tried was delicious, we loved it. Really traditional Chinese food. It was difficult for us to understand the menu, we asked but they did not explain the dishes much to us, they should be more patient with tourists.
