It was very busy on weekend but worth waiting for. We ordered Chongqing spicy beef noodle, beef tendon, Sichuan pork belly. Everything was so good. Beef tendon was worth to try. The spicy noodle was so good, the spiciness was perfect for me. The Sichuan pork belly, you need to it with rice, it was quite salty to eat it alone. The reataurant was small with few tables, so be patient.
As Chongqing noodle fan, I can say that this is not authentic. The Chongqing noodle was missing a numbing spice flavor that’s the soul of Chongqing noodle sauce. This is more personal preference - I prefer noodles that are softer so the fact that the noodle was not fully cooked and still hard when it’s served marks this even lower. Here you come to negotiate with the spice. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup is like a CEO in soup: dominant, profound, unafraid to leave a mark. It's very good for my first time, and I'm leaving with a full and happy stomach.
