I didn't get to go to the old City Beer Store location often before it closed but have now been to the new location (which replaced Amnesia) a few times. I love having this solid beer spot available when I'm cycling down Valencia--such a temptation to pull over! The inside is very much no frills in the best possible way. Been going to city beer for close to a decade now, ultimately of the three locations their newest one is the worst, but I suspect it was necessary after COVID and unsustainability of its mission st. spot. I still appreciate the online store and will come here if there is an amazing tap takeover but not a must to frequent anymore. Most pics you'll see on this listing are the old locations.

It was cool to go to the game night! Great selections!I gave 4 stars since it's a bar vibe here but the tender was unenthuzed.As a bar manager, you make regulars by prompting conversations and making relationships.
