Really cool spot, good food. Nice chill vibe and lots of fun once the DJs showed up that night.

A great dive bar with a simple Ethiopian food menu, it’s not very big but carries a rich history tied to music legends who once performed there. I wish they would bring back live jazz.

Club Waziema is a dive bar serving some of the best Ethiopian food in San Francisco, particularly known for its vegetarian options. The veggie platter with everything is a popular choice. The injera is exceptional, and the service is friendly in this family-owned establishment. However, the signage could be improved to make it clear that food is served at night. While the atmosphere may be lacking, it doesn't detract from the delicious food. One dish, the beef stew, has been noted to contain ground beef instead of cubed beef, but it still tastes fine. It's worth noting that Club Waziema serves food at night, and it might be a good idea to explore other Ethiopian places before returning.
