When we showed up to the tower, we had no idea there was a cafe nearby. It was an incredibly cold morning and a hot cup of coffee sounded delightful. They were able to quickly make us a couple great cups of coffee and a grilled cheese. It was a little pricey, but totally worth it. The service was fast and very friendly. The chairs and table nearby made for a great spot to just chill and enjoy our little breakfast. If you find yourself at Coit tower, it's definitely worth...
Don't know why reviews saying older man was rude. Today, an older man with a beard was very nice and took his time to give advice on the parking policy. I didn't buy anything and wanted to know how long can I leave my car there. Maybe the cold weather put him in a friendly mood. Anyway, I appreciate the tip.
This little place at the front entrance near the public washrooms is the only place up at Coit Tower offering food and beverage. Note, you are not allowed to take any edibles into the Tower but there are a few seats in front the stall as well as ample seating on the concrete slabs surrounding the roundabout and the carpark on which to sit and enjoy your purchases.
