We had lunch at the Elephant Sushi on Grove, and it was a delight! We had a selection of artisan pickles; salt, vinegar and miso cured to compare, followed by a collar of fish with a sweet, crusty marinade! My favourite was a sushi roll steamed at the table in a foil pocket! Flavour explosion! My friends loved the raw offerings, (not my personal thing) served with fascinating garnishes like saffron stamens, and truffle shavings!
