Excellent food. We tried the pupusas, yuca fries, and chilequiles. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. They do cook to order, so expect 10-15 wait after ordering.
I would give it 10 stars if I could. The pupusas and mango salad are amazing!
What a hidden gem!! Every single bite of food was just amazing. I am born and raised in El Salvador and I don't usually have a good experience with pupusas in the U.S., but this place? INCREDIBLE.

Estrellita’s Snacks is a hidden gem with incredible food. Every single bite is amazing, and the pupusas are some of the best in a long time. The pupusas are large, stuffed, and absolutely delicious. The pupusa plate comes with a good amount of curtido and the spicy salsa has good flavor. The fried plantains are glorious. There are vegan options, and the agua frescas are incredibly good. The complimentary coffee is so good you don’t need cream or sugar. The restaurant is very clean, cozy, and calm. The service is kind, welcoming, and courteous. The host is the kindest. On Fridays, there is a sale on pupusas for $4.50 instead of the regular $6. One customer had to wait over 25 minutes for an order but would do it again. The Sopa de Res is soul therapy. The place is not in the greatest district, but the food is the best.
