Always come here for their Oxtail Pot, highly recommended for any soup lovers! Nigiris are great but not that overwhelming. Compared to other Omakase places in the city, I feel that the rice is typically too seasoned with soy sauce so might be a little salty. Wouldn’t recommend the squid karage as it’s too greasy (from multiple experiences). Anyway still loving their warm, romantic vibe overall! Great for dates or catchup with friends.
Fenikkusu serves some interesting dishes that you wouldn’t find at your typical Japanese restaurant. As the name says they serve tapas (ie small portion) dishes and specialize in sushi.
The mini kaisen don is the real star of the menu and is a well thought out balance of sashimi rice, aromatics and salmon roe for some brininess. The mentaiko pasta is also a really awesome dish. I would come back here for these two dishes. I also enjoyed the corn fritters...

Not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me, but this is probably the best Salmon Nigiri I've ever had. Smooth as glass and soft as silk, you tongue gets heartbroken when you swallow this magical dish. A+ staff and atmosphere. Will be back!
