Four barrel takes their coffee seriously and it shows in the craft. The Cortado had a very clean flavor (no finishes) with a sweet floral base and honey flavor layered on top.
One unique part I want to call out was the perfect microfoam that they put on top of the Cortado. The texture it provides for the palette is hard to compare to other coffeeshops I’ve been to: almost “sparkly”.

Not cheap (especially if you are paying with Japanese yen!), but loved the atmosphere, the cappuccino (with lovely fruity notes coming through), cortado, and croissant amande were top notch, and we were even able to pick up a delicious loaf of Josey Baker sourdough bread!
