This place is cute. I love the ceiling painted like a sky full of bagels and the row of tiny ducks by the register. However, my bagel experience was mid and I wouldn’t recommend this place with enthusiasm. Notably, my experience had more to do with the subpar toppings than the actual bagel, which was pretty good by itself. I ordered an egg & avocado bagel and was disappointed by both the egg and avocado. The eggs were microwaved and tasted a bit odd whereas the avocado spread was very mushy and didn’t taste fresh. I think if you order a bagel with just cream cheese it’ll be good- again, the bagel itself wasn’t the issue but the toppings. In the past, scrambled eggs has been the default whenever I’ve ordered a breakfast bagel with eggs at other places so it was a surprise to receive the eggs in this form. The bagels are made fairly quickly so that’s a plus!

My favorite bagel spot in all of sf. Originally from San Jose and house of bagels location is fire there. Nothing beats that location but this location is cute and have a lot of choices more than bagels. Their jalapeño cream cheese is yummy.

I have been here many times since I was attending school nearby back in the day. I usually stop by here when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. Upon arrival, you can smell the aroma that opens up your appetite even more. They have a great selection of bagels to choose from, I normally go for the Jalapeno cheddar one since it includes a bit of a kick and it’s freaking delicious. Everything is made to order here which is a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Also the staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite, if you need something early to snack on or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
The bagels delivered daily to Santa Clara market on Haight are consistently really hard. Cutting through them with a serrated knife even is a challenge. They're almost for sure day olds. For $1 though not awful

I was supposed to get 1/2 off for my bagels but the assistant forgot. He offered me pastries but I didn’t want them. I asked for him to cancel the charge and ring it up again. He then said he couldn’t and kept looking towards the pastries! I guess he didn’t know how to reverse the charge and apologized. I was so mad I just grabbed my bagels and stormed out. I want my money back.
