When in San Francisco, you MUST go here. The decor is a little old school but charming and a little fancy. The background music was fitting. Service was warm, wonderful and efficient. The prices were amazing considering the atmosphere, that it was seafood-centric and the location. Everything we ate, from oysters on the half shell for Happy Hour, to our entrees (Ciopino and seafood en papillote), and dessert (housemade chocolate cheesecake), was delicious, fresh and beautifully...
The restaurant felt very old school. It appeared to have 3 employees total and no computer system, so i didn't even bother to ask for separate checks because I'm sure it would have been a challenge with such an understaffed establishment. They serve no hard liquor or cocktails. Just beer and wine. The staff was really nice and friendly. The lobster bisque, trout and sole muniere were all tasty.
This restaurant is an absolute gem! Delicious seafood with warm and inviting service at a very affordable price! I had the Cajun scallop and shrimp combo to start followed by an exquisite Chilean sea bass in parchment and banana bread pudding for dessert. I highly recommend this venue!
