I got to this place somewhat frequently. The food is usually pretty good, and the staff is always exceptionally friendly. The last couple of times I’ve gone the fish has not been cut well, or maybe the fish is just a lesser quality. Like, consistently tough chewey bits/skin(?) on the salmon and yellow tail. The first time I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but the second time now two weeks later and it’s worse than before. I ate about half of it before it just wasn’t appetizing...
I got a regular bowl priced at $13.75. I thought that was a really fair price for Poké, let alone SF pricing. I had a choice of 2 meats which was nice and they gave 2 decent sized scoops. I liked all of their topping & garnish choices. The regular bowl lasted me 2 meals! Overall I liked this poké shop but they should consider using sushi rice instead of white, it gives it a better texture & flavor…

The atmosphere is pretty standard—nothing fancy, just a simple place that feels like eating in a kitchen, which I didn’t mind at all.
The service was excellent. The person who took my order was patient and very knowledgeable, clearly knowing what he was doing. It made the ordering process smooth and pleasant.
