The traditional rolls were well constructed, the nigiri was cut too big, and the fancy sauce rolls fell apart so were hard to eat.
Would I come back? Absolutely, because the fish quality is really good. Would I get the fancy sauce rolls again? No.

I’ve been eating here for three decades - it’s old school, small footprint makes the dining experience harken to long gone SF.
The food is EXCELLENT as is service, & presentation. Very low key, salt of the earth environment. The focus is on the food not decor.
Can get crowded - no reservations but if there is a wait you’ll be happy you hung around.
