According to me, Izzy's makes the best blackened filet in town. Whenever we have an event in the city we usually go to Izzy's for their steaks. This time did not disappoint. We had not been there since they remodeled the place and we were pleased that the ambiance had not changed. It still felt like Izzy's but just shinier. We were showed to a table in the new section that was a booth for two. I loved it. Our server was so attentive and prompt. The steaks were cooked...
Terrific fillet. Perfectly cooked medium rare. It was nice to get a piece of really nice bread included. The drinks were excellent. The side dishes were perfect. The prices have gone up since the remodel, but the service and everything was perfect on a weeknight.
It was our anniversary and we were treated very well. Quick service but didn't feel rushed. Even included complimentary non-alcoholic sparkling wine. We said we didn't drink and were surprised with the sparkling wine. Nice touch! The food was delicious. And we loved the Izzy's potatoes! Yum!
